Professional Music Teaching Service in Hampshire
1st 4 Reeds are a professional teaching service that has over 20 years experience of teaching pupils of all ages both Clarinet and Saxophone. Our experience extends from Dorset through Hampshire to Berkshire, however, we currently teach students from Andover, Winchester and Salisbury districts in Hampshire and Wiltshire.
Pupils that are taught at 1st 4 Reeds will learn to a high standard, taking and passing examinations through the professionally recognized exam boards or learn to play for pleasure. As a pupil, you will learn using a wide variety of musical styles to provide both enjoyment and the best possible music education. 1st 4 Reeds students are taught the practical aspects of playing their instrument, and music theory to support their learning. This enables students to achieve their potential and higher musical standards.
Although examinations are not essential, we find that some pupils like to play for enjoyment whilst others are very happy to monitor their own progress through their increasd capabilities and the rising standards of difficulty in the music that they learn to play. However, examinations do form a bench mark or recognition for your achievements and for the younger student, perhaps considering University entry, it can be an asset to have completed. As a student at 1st4reeds you will have the option of taking a variety of music exams with professional training and support to help you make the grade.
